As with many old properties this home was suffering from draughts and cold spots due to original rotten timber single glazed windows. The homeowners came to us to look at designing a new scheme of windows that would be sympathetic to the original style of the property whilst upgrading the overall U value and reducing the ongoing maintenance required.

The most impressive window within the home is definitely the large bay windows that looks out across the front garden. Due to the unique design and stunning character of this window we supplied this window in a timber fabricate with double glazing to ensure this was as close as possible to the original window whilst upgrading the energy and sound performance.

Throughout the rest of the home we supplied a range of Evolution timber alternative windows, which closely mirror the look and feel of timber however are manufactured from UPVC and require little to no maintenance.

The finished result is a sympathetic upgrade, with the new windows looking close in design and style to the original whilst offering a much more modern glazing solution.
