Cheshire New Build

Located within a countryside setting on the fringes of Alderley Edge Cheshire we where instructed by luxury home builder Noble Projects to supply and install a complete glazing package for this new build home.

We supplied six sets of slimline aluminium sliding doors and a range of alu-clad windows and doors throughout the home. The slimline sliding doors are a great option for maximising on light flow and enhanced indoor/outdoor connection. We worked with Noble Projects to hide as much of the aluminium frames as possible within the fabric of the building creating large expanses of floor to ceiling glass panels.

For the windows we fitted our Velfac alu-clad range which offers an aluminium finish externally and painted timber internally. The clients colour scheme was an important and consistent detail throughout the project. The light brown brick contrast against the brown zinc cladding and this set the tone for the building. The darker brown colour of the zinc cladding has been carried through throughout the windows and doors with an anodised finish. Utilising aluminium products throughout the build enabled us to achieve this unique finish and closely match the cladding colour. Internally the alu-clad windows give a more softer finish which is perfect for day to day living.

The nook at the front of the property features a large picture window used to create a large window seat. Aluminium-clad windows are essential in areas like this as the timber finish is much softer internally than aluminium.

Due to the size of the original property on the land, the homeowners decided to build downwards, creating a basement to create additional floor space, allowing for a gym, spare bedroom and movie room. To help light flow and enable maximum use of the outdoor space, we have installed two large sets of aluminium sliding doors with a flush floor threshold.

The property also features several roof-lights for added interest and light flow.
