Having lived in their home for many years, the homeowners had always been sympathetic to the original design of the home. They had wanted to ensure they retained as many of the original features as possible whenever making changes and upgrades to the home.
Looking to replace the original timber windows and doors with something more energy efficient and low maintenance, whilst staying true to the original character and design of the property. We supplied and installed two sliding sash bay windows from our timber alternative, Roseview range, which are a highly close replica of the original windows, while offering all the benefits of modern window technology.
The windows originally featured a half-Georgian design with a 60/40 split. We were able to achieve this same design with the new windows, combined with the slide mid rail and deep bottom rail, it is hard to tell the difference between the original timber and the new timber alternative UPVC windows.
We also supplied a Solidor composite door, which opens out onto the balcony and has been designed to match the style of a glazed timber door from yesteryear.
If you are looking for new sliding sash windows for your home, our showroom is the perfect place to start.
