Aluminium sliding door Liverpool

After recently purchasing this lovely, detached family home, the new owners wanted to replace an existing conservatory with something more practical. Looking to create a space that would be perfect for entertaining friends and hosting family gatherings the owners met with an architect to design their new space.

Having originally considered two sets of bifold doors with a column, however after further research they settled on a 10M aluminium sliding door removing the need for a central column. The perfect choice in our opinion. The door supplied is our Knight Line sliding door which has a 20mm central mullion which is the slimmest sightline currently available on the market. We worked with the builders to ensure the perfect fit, the door has been recessed on all sides to give an almost flush finish to the top, sides and floor which in our opinion is the correct way to fit these doors.

The homeowners also has 4 sets of electronic blinds recessed into the ceiling which are barely noticeable when closed however offer the perfect solution to privacy at night. For the rest of the build we supplied and installed two further roof lights and also two aluminium windows.

This is a perfect example of how modern glazing and building technology can be used to create the perfect family space onto your existing home. We absolutely love this build and would love to work with anyone who is planning something similar.
