Installation of Industrial Style French Doors and Window

Nestled within one of the most coveted locales on the Wirral Peninsula, the homeowners of this expansive family abode embarked on a series of modernization endeavors. Seeking to infuse a contemporary flair while maximizing natural light intake, their vision included the addition of a stunning array of black steel-inspired windows and doors to the rear façade. This transformation aimed to elevate both the interior and exterior ambiance, harmonizing seamlessly with the existing architectural elements.

In collaboration with a local builder, the project entailed the adaptation of an existing window opening to enlarge it significantly, thereby facilitating the conversion of a standard-height window into a grand, full-height feature. This strategic modification not only ensured uniformity across the rear elevation but also ushered in an abundance of natural light, illuminating the interiors with a radiant warmth.

All hinges and handles were meticulously coated in the same sleek black powder finish, guaranteeing a seamless and unified appearance throughout. Incorporating two horizontal glazing bars per panel effectively divided each glazed section into three, adhering to the timeless principle of the rule of thirds—a well-known architectural technique renowned for its ability to confer a visually captivating aesthetic.

Internally, the introduction of the striking black doors serves as a captivating contrast against the pristine white paintwork, becoming an arresting focal point within the residence. The juxtaposition of light and dark elements enhances the visual appeal, infusing the space with a sense of modern sophistication and timeless elegance.
