Timber Alternative Windows Cheshire

After purchasing this stunning family home the homeowners set about on a scheme of upgrades and modernisations to bring the home up to a modern standard.

Many of the windows where original steel single glazed windows which would have been extremely expensive to repair and therefore the homeowners decided to replace all of the windows and doors throughout the property.

Looking for a window that is both modern in function but also sympathetic to the age and style of the home, the homeowners decided upon our Evolution timber alternative windows and doors finished in olive grey. We also supplied and installed a large Crittal steel screen as part of a new extension to the home.

Internally the windows were finished in white with wrought iron monkey tail handles and peg stays. The windows feature traditional butt joins, internal and external glazing bars and slim frames all designed to closely replicate the look of timber whilst using UPVC. Externally the French doors are finished with a black wrought iron handle and matching black hinges.

A new living area was added to the home which we supplied and installed a steel Crittall screen which gives a nod to the original steel windows that where once installed throughout the home and adds an edgy feel to the new extension which contrasts well with the original home, creating a clear divide between the new and old buildings whilst still being an age appropriate material for the building.

If you are planning a new renovation project that requires a combination of different windows and door styles a visit to our Heswall showroom is a must, with so many different styles on display it is a perfect starting point when looking for inspiration for your new project and our experienced sales team are always on hand to help.
