Hurst Composite Doors | John Knight Glass

The Knight Collection Composite Doors

If you are looking for a composite door that offers both incredible good looks with proven levels of high security then a Hurst composite door may be the perfect fit.  Available in a wide range of colours to suit your individual preference, as well as a variety of glass options, Hurst Composite Doors have combined a style with strength, resulting in a door that really offers the full package.

Made from impact resistant GRP along with a solid water resistant polymer subframe, these composite doors are designed to keep intruders out.  They are also proven to BS6375-1 Classification for weather resistance, meaning that water, wind and air are also kept firmly outside.  The insulation properties are excellent in both heat retention and sound reduction, ideal for reducing traffic noise.  Thanks to its high level of thermal insulation, it outperforms both PVCU and Timber doors, improving the energy efficiency of your home and savings to your bills.

Backed by a ten year guarantee, Hurst Composite Doors offer strength, stability and high impact resistance for long term peace of mind.  With the aesthetic of an authentic timber door thanks to the thermoset GRP skins featuring a realistic wood grain effect, you can enjoy all the advantages of timber but with limited maintenance.  A huge advantage of thermoset GRP is that it cannot expand or contract laterally so the door cannot change in size, meaning a door that fits seamlessly into its frame no matter the season.

The factory finish colours of black, white, green, blue and Red have pre-pigmented GRP skins over-sprayed with a UV stable paint.  The premium range offers the latest advances in paint technologies with 12 new colours that are applied with state of the art spraying equipment, guaranteeing a smooth, even finish whilst maintaining the traditional grain definition. Our colour matching service ensures that we can also accurately recreate colours from all the major paint manufactures, along with the RAL, Pantone and British Standard and colour palettes, so you can design a truly unique door for your home.

The Hurst composite door is rates low in both Ozone Depletion scoring zero and Global Warming Potential (GWP) with a score of less than five, so you can be assured that it is also environmentally friendly.
