Residence 9 Farmhouse, North Wales

Situated in a picturesque rural setting on the outskirts of North Wales, this new build farmhouse was specifically designed with a traditional aesthetic in order to effortlessly blend into the existing landscape.

The owners were looking for a window that would not only suit the traditional style of the property, but as is often the case with new builds or refurbishment projects, offer an excellent level of energy efficiency, in excess of those required by building regulations.

Residence 9 Flush Windows were the perfect fit and we were able to supply all windows and doors with highly efficient UPVC frames and 44mm triple glazing.  This enabled us to achieve overall U values of 0.8Uw which exceeds the current building regulations standards and is certain to make any new home a very comfortable place to live.

The other main priority was the look and durability of the window as our clients wanted a traditional timber flush sash look that also offered the benefit of low maintenance. Residence 9 windows suited this requirement perfectly due to their traditional looks and advanced coating system which ensures that the external colour will stay looking sharp for a very long time, outlasting other inferior UPVC coloured windows.

Our client chose ‘Cotswold Biscuit’ externally which provided a beautiful, soft traditional look to complement their exterior farmhouse styling.  Internally they opted for ‘white woodgrain’ effect which provided them with the appealing fresh, bright, cleanliness that white offers, along with the tactile and homely feel of woodgrain, a perfect combination for this beautiful farmhouse.
