Aluminium Orangery, Wirral

The owners of this large family home have been modernising, updating and extending the property over the past 8 years to create their dream home. Their most recent addition was to remove an old, outdated, cold conservatory and replace it with a stunning modern, energy efficient orangery as part of an extension to their open plan kitchen dining room, creating a versatile living space for all of the family to enjoy.

We worked closely with the owners to create a bespoke design optimised for their personal style and needs while being sympathetic to their existing grand home.  We decided to use three different aluminium products from three different manufacturers for the most optimal application and ensured we achieved perfect consistency and an uninterrupted aesthetic by powder coating each product with the exact same RAL colour and finish. Additionally, we fitted them with matching hardware for a truly seamless look despite not being from the same range, a huge benefit to the client who wanted versatility of product choice across all of our different brands.

As part of the project, we also worked in conjunction with their builder to ensure that the steel columns on the corners of the orangery were below a certain width in order to help them achieve their requirement of slim sight lines and avoiding any bulky areas in keeping with their desire for a modern, sleek look.

Two sets of Centor aluminium bi-fold doors have been installed on this orangery, making it possible for two sides of the building to be completely opened up, perfect for summer days and entertaining guests.  The overall result is an extremely versatile space, filled with natural light and offering expansive views of the large garden.  Unlike their previous conservatory, the modern technology featured in this orangery ensures that this space is energy efficient, so the family can enjoy the use of it year round, an excellent long term investment for both their property and their family.

This orangery has 2 sets of bifold doors and 1 single side door for easy access to he garden. All doors are from the Centor range ensuring a consistent look throughout the orangery with matching door hardware.
