Flat Roof Light Cheshire

Halls, stairs and landings particularly on properties with 3 stories often struggle for natural light. The best solution to this problem is often a roof light, adding either a flat or pitched roof light to your roof will allow direct sunlight to flood your internal space with an abundance of natural light.

We worked with our client to design a solution that would give the homeowners the maximum sized rooflight to suit their space and create the maximum amount of light.

We supplied the roof light with 44mm triple glazing to ensure the best possible U value was achieved. This is essential as insulations roof spaces is critical for ensure the best thermal performance of a building.

Insulation is difficult as lifting such a large piece of glass up 3 stories and into place does poses several challenges. However for installations like this we have a compact spider crane in house which removes this difficulty and makes installation a breeze.

The new roof light has achieved the initial task of adding more light to this loft landing. Additionally the new roof light has become a  point of interest adding a wow factor to the space night and day.

The deep kerb has created a large opening beneath the roof light glass which has added a greater feeling of space to the existing landing. Combined with the new light flow the entire space feels much bigger and brighter than before.

The results has achieved everything the homeowners wanted and more. The addition of a roof light to the landing has created a greater feeling of space, made the area lighter and also that wow factor to an otherwise plain space.
