Having lived in this property for many years the homeowners wanted to completely transform the rear of the property to create their ultimate living space. Running their own building company Rowan Developments, the homeowners have a lot of experience building extensions and re-developing homes.

With plenty of experience with building extensions Mr & Mrs Lowe knew exactly what style of extension they wanted. A large open space for all the family to enjoy that makes best use of the building plot with lots of natural light flowing through the room.

A flat roof extension enabled the use of 2 large flat rooflights adding plenty of light to the room as well as best accommodating the plot shape. Within the corner of the extension a large bi-folding and a large sliding door have been combined to create a large glazed area giving great views of the garden which is currently being renovated.

This new extension has completely changed the home and created an open plan family living space complete with open plan kitchen, dining and living area as well as a separate utility room.

4 different unique products have been combined here including 2 flat roof lights, Centor bifold doors, Essential sliding doors and an aluminium window. Despite being manufactured by several different companies the products have all been made from aluminium powder coated in Anthracite Grey to achieve a consistent look throughout.
