After buying an old bungalow that had seen better days in a stunning location within Lymm, Cheshire with magnificent views across the countryside they had decided to make the best use of the plot and knock down the existing structure and build a brand new property. Going for a semi traditional build with some modern twists such as the grey aluminium windows and wood cladding.
Throughout the build anthracite grey aluminium windows and door where supplied including three pairs of aluminium french doors. The use of several sets of doors allows lots of light into the property and also maximum glazing areas to make the most of the views. TO find out more about this project click the image link.
John Knight Glass were appointed by a local Heswall builder to design, supply, and install a complete glazing solution for this brand new property. The client wanted to achieve a modern look using a dark grey colour palette to contrast well with the cream render applied to the external walls of the property. We were tasked with achieving an U value of 1.3 throughout the property which was achieved using thermally broken aluminium frames and triple glazing.
The glazing installation throughout this property is one of the major features of this new build as the client wanted lots of glass in order to flood the property with natural light and to create a feeling of space.
To the rear of the property multiple cets of aluminium doors where used including a set of Centor Aluminium french door to maximise on light and make the most of the indoor/outdoor living areas.
